Mission Statement:
St. Anne’s Episcopal Day School strives to teach children to
love God with all their hearts and to love their neighbor as
themselves.
Realizing that Christian Education is the responsibility of
parents and the church, St. Anne’s seeks to assume a partnering
relationship with parents in the education and development of
young children, with an emphasis on our Episcopal tradition.
St. Anne’s recognizes that early Christian Education and
ministering in love to one another will reflect God’s love in
our children’s lives, in their families, in our community and in
our world.
History:
St. Anne’s Episcopal Day School opened in 1988 after many years
of prayers and planning with a single class. Since that time, we
have grown to offer four different morning preschool programs
for children ages 2 1/2 to 5. St. Anne’s Episcopal Day School has
received So-Salem’s Gold or Silver Award three years in a row!
Our curriculum at St. Anne’s is based on developmental learning.
We hold a weekly chapel service and daily classroom prayers. We
enjoy the opportunity to include God in our school day, and
always respect the diverse religious backgrounds of our
students. We are proud to have both a music and physical
education teacher on staff. We also have a computer lab and
computer teacher. Our many parents, friends and special visitors
will also share their time and special talents with us.
